Which bully sticks are made in the USA? Here's what eighteen product pages say.
Seven of the eighteen pages say the stick is both made and sourced in the USA. One of those is bison, not beef.
They're two Campfire Treats sticks, three from Great Dog Co, one from Sancho and Lola's Closet, and one from Jack's Premium.
Two pages say made or baked in the USA, but not where the beef comes from. One says packaged in the USA, with the product from other countries.
The FTC says an unqualified Made in USA claim means all or virtually all made in the U.S. And brands don't need FTC approval to make that claim.

Which bully sticks are made in the USA?
Of the 18 bully stick product pages we checked on 2026-10-25, nine say the chew is made (or baked) in the USA, and seven of those also say it's sourced in the USA: Campfire Treats' Standard and Thin Odor-Free sticks (“Sourced and made in the USA”), three GREAT DOG CO. products (including its bison pizzle), Sancho & Lola's Closet's 6-inch Charcuterie Style sticks (“CHARCUTERIE: Made in the USA.”) and Jack's Premium 5-8" Thin sticks (“sourced and made in the USA”). Pupford says “This product is made in the USA.” and Best Bully Sticks calls its 12-inch stick “USA-baked”, but neither page says where the beef comes from. These are the brands' own claims; we haven't verified them.
Are there bully sticks made from American cattle?
Several brands say so in their own words. GREAT DOG CO. says its jumbo stick is “Made from 100% U.S.-sourced beef bull pizzle” and its thin stick is “Sourced from U.S. steer and made in the USA”; Campfire Treats says “Sourced and made in the USA”; Jack's Premium says its sticks are “sourced and made in the USA”. GREAT DOG's bison pizzle is “Made from 100% free-range, grass-fed American bison”, which is bison, not cattle. Bow Wow Labs lists the USA as one of several sourcing countries: “Sourced from Brazil, Argentina, the USA, & Turkey”.
Are bully sticks made in Brazil?
Five of the 18 pages name Brazil in their made-in or sourcing wording. Jack&Pup says “grass-fed cattle from Brazil”; Bully Bunches says “Packaged in the USA; product of Brazil, Turkey or Colombia.”; Bow Wow Labs lists Brazil among its sourcing countries; Pawstruck (“Made in: Paraguay, Brazil, Colombia, New Zealand, Peru, or Turkey”) and Redbarn (“Country of Origin: Paraguay, Brazil, Colombia, New Zealand, Peru, Turkey”) list it among several possible countries, so a given bag may come from any of them. Mighty Paw's page also mentions Brazil: it names Colombia in one place and says “sourced from grass-fed, free-range beef in Brazil” in another.
Are any bully sticks made in Canada?
None of the 18 bully stick pages we checked names Canada as where the chew is made or sourced. The countries they do name are the USA, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Colombia, Peru, New Zealand, Turkey and Nepal, plus regions such as South America, Europe and “The Americas”.
Are there odor-free bully sticks made in the USA?
Yes, by the brands' own descriptions. Campfire Treats' Standard and Thin “Odor-Free” sticks say “Sourced and made in the USA”; Sancho & Lola's Closet lists its 6-inch Charcuterie Style sticks as “No odor-Made in the USA”; and Best Bully Sticks says its 12-inch stick “is USA-baked and odor-free.” Jack's Premium calls its sticks “"Odor Free" - Might leave behind a BBQ smell”.
What are the best bully sticks made in the USA?
Nibbables doesn't rank chews, so we can't name a best one. What we can show is exactly what each brand claims (the table above), which brands back the claim with a sourcing statement, and which don't say. For which stick suits your dog's size and chewing style, follow the brand's size guidance on each card and ask your vet.
Are there braided bully sticks made in the USA?
None of the 18 bully sticks in our directory is a braided stick, so we haven't checked any braided product pages yet. Braided bully sticks are on our list to add, with the same quoted made-in and sourcing wording.
What a “Made in USA” claim is supposed to mean
The Federal Trade Commission's guidance says that for a product to be called Made in USA without qualification, “the product must be “all or virtually all” made in the U.S.” It defines that as meaning “the final assembly or processing of the product occurs in the United States, all significant processing that goes into the product occurs in the United States, and all or virtually all ingredients or components of the product are made and sourced in the United States.”
The FTC also says “A company doesn’t need approval from the FTC before making a Made in USA claim”, so a claim on a product page is the company's own statement. Its guidance gives a packaging example: “Stating Made in USA on the package would deceive consumers about the origin of the product inside.” We quote the FTC so you can read each brand's wording against it; we don't judge whether any brand meets the standard.
Made, sourced, baked or packaged: the wording differs
Seven of the 18 pages say both made and sourced in the USA. Two say only where the stick is made or baked: Pupford (“This product is made in the USA.”) and Best Bully Sticks' 12-inch stick (“USA-baked”), and our card for the Best Bully Sticks stick notes the page doesn't say where the beef comes from.
Two pages mention the USA in a narrower way. Bully Bunches says “Packaged in the USA; product of Brazil, Turkey or Colombia.” Bow Wow Labs lists “Sourced from Brazil, Argentina, the USA, & Turkey”, and its FAQ says the sticks “are packaged in the US”. Mighty Paw names Colombia (and, elsewhere on the page, Brazil) as its source and says the sticks are “Hand-inspected in our Rochester, NY headquarters”. None of these three says the stick is made in the USA.
How we checked
We fetched each brand's own product page on 2026-10-25 and copied the made-in and sourcing wording word for word; every quote on this page is checked against a saved copy of that page. Three brands are new to the directory tonight: Sancho & Lola's Closet, Jack's Premium and Bully Bunches. We didn't contact the brands or see their supplier records, so if origin matters to you, ask the brand for details. Pages change, so the date on each card is the last time we looked.
